I bought a used 3rd gen ipod with no belt clip, and all was fine. Then my wife needed to use it because her mini got a little spritz, and now her mini does dont work properly. She is a belt clip type of gal. Bought this right here at amazon. It is the 3 pack with lanyard. 1-for the mini, 1-for the 3rd and 4th gens, and 1-for the video ipod. This review is how it worked for my 3g.
My wifes original apple belt clip for her mini fits VERY tight. This one does not fit nearly as tight, but tight enough, and they add this little built in curve just to make sure that it cant slide out the bottom. Very happy with it. A good deal for a good product.
Not sure how you would use the lanyard. I think they call it a neck strap, but would you want to hang an ipod around your neck? Nah…. Buy It Now at Amazon!
